QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications
• Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug-tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers to understand features and expected behavior
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UI testing
• Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing
• Ensure product quality by following testing standards and workflows
• Assist in building automation test scripts (basic knowledge is a plus)
• Provide clear QA reports and feedback to relevant teams
• Stay updated with QA methodologies, tools, and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3-4 years of experience in QA or software testing
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, API basics)
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello, or similar
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a mindset to catch edge cases and usability issues

• Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress (even basic exposure is a plus)
• Understanding of API testing tools like Postman
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Experience testing responsive web applications
• Knowledge of performance testing or mobile app testing
• Testing for various mobile brand devices
